Effective September 29, 2026
Charlotte Robinson LLC wants everyone to be able to use charlotterobinsonllc.com, including people who use assistive technology, navigate with a keyboard or are sensitive to motion.
Our standard
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We test the site with automated tools, with the keyboard alone and on phones.
Accessibility options
Every page has an accessibility button in the bottom-left corner, and an “Accessibility” link in the footer. They open a panel with three settings:
- Pause animations. Stops the moving client logos, the rotating testimonials and other motion. The site also follows the “reduce motion” setting of your device.
- Higher contrast. Makes secondary text darker, underlines links in text and shows a stronger outline around the element that has keyboard focus.
- Standard cursor. Replaces the site’s custom cursor with your normal mouse pointer.
Your choices are saved in your browser only. See our Cookie Policy for details.
What else we do
- A “Skip to content” link is the first thing the Tab key reaches on every page.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative images and animations are hidden from screen readers.
- All links, buttons and sliders can be used with a keyboard, and the element in focus is always visible.
- Pages use headings and landmarks, so screen reader users can move around quickly.
- You can zoom the page, including pinch-zoom on phones.
- The contact form has a label on every field.
Known limitations
- In the default design, some small secondary text (such as captions and footer text) is lighter than the WCAG contrast ratio. The Higher contrast setting fixes this.
- The animated web at the top of the homepage is decorative. It carries no information, and it stays still when animations are paused.
- Pages we link to, such as our clients’ websites, are outside our control.
